Musical Director: Garry Brahe
Garry was the Musical Director of the very successful P.C.Y.C. Concert Band for 14 years, and subsequently the MD of the Bankstown District Concert Band for a further 10 years. He has worked with many Musical Societies, conducting shows including Chicago, The Boyfriend, Paint Your Wagon, How To Succeed In Business, and many more.
Garry brings to the Choir a passionate love of music, and a lot of experience in performance and interpretation.
Accompanist: Mavis Noakes
Mavis is a graduate of the Sydney Conservatorium of Music and Sydney Teachers College. She has taught High School Music for many years, as well as acting as rehearsal pianist and “pit” musician for many Stage Musicals. In 2002 she accepted the invitation to act as resident accompanist with Bankstown City Choir, she also plays with the Sutherland Shire Symphony Orchestra.
